One of the most common comments/questions I hear from ladies who are interested in booking a session is that they aren’t sure what to wear. They don’t have anything, they don’t know what to shop for, or sometimes they just are too afraid or busy to even try and will show up with nothing!
No worries! What to wear for your boudoir session is one of the main things we will discuss during your consultation! We will discuss styles that will flatter your specific body type, and talk about things that photograph well and what to avoid.
It is definitely better for clients to bring their own items if possible, for the sake of variety and making sure your boudoir images are unique and specific to you, and we’ve created some boards full of some of our favorite pieces on Pinterest if you need inspiration! Almost everything on the boards is available for purchase inexpensively on Amazon (if you purchase anything, I will receive a small reward for sending you there!). We have ideas for what to wear for a plus size boudoir session, or if you prefer to search more by theme, we have a board full of ideas for jeweltone boudoir sessions, bridal boudoir inspiration, for the more feminine look we have some light and lacy boudoir wardrobe ideas here. More into the pin-up look? Here’s a board full of retro inspired boudoir looks! A little more bold and edgy? We’ve got you covered here with some leather and lace inspired wardrobe ideas!
We also have a pretty extensive wardrobe at the studio with pieces available that will fit anywhere from an XS to a size 28/30, and we are always adding more! We keep a variety of styles so that we have things that will fit all sorts of shapes and sizes, and we also have plenty of accessories, fabric, blankets, sheets, etc that can be used regardless of how large or small you are! Look at these beautiful photos of Stephanie in one of the bodysuits we have available for clients to wear!
