It’s been awhile since I had a chance to just do some GORGEOUS portraits of someone, so when Christine came in last month with a goal of having some beautiful images made for her children, I was super excited! Continue reading

September is a month of big ideas and new ventures for me. On September 1st of this year, I celebrated the 4 year anniversary of deciding that I would take my photography hobby and turn it into a business. The last 4 years have been full of excitement, stress, ideas and growth!
Two years ago this week, I looked at the first place I considered renting for a studio. This is when the dream of moving my growing boudoir business out of my home started. I soon realized it wouldn’t work for me and started brainstorming ways I could make my dream a reality. Within 4 months I had figured out a projected budget and an ideal location, and then found an amazing space…. Continue reading »
In the morning while I’m having my coffee, I like to browse around Facebook. I prep my posts for the week, check out what’s going on with my friends and participate in conversations with my VIP group of past and future clients. This morning’s conversation was prompted when some recent clients shared photos of their beautiful prints displayed over their bed and another member of the group asked where they got the images printed.

It’s not often that I get to photograph someone from the neighborhood where I grew up, but a couple of months ago I had someone book a shoot, and when I told her about our “Add a friend for $100” deal, she asked if I photographed men because she had a friend who she thought would really benefit from having a session himself. Of course I was absolutely thrilled with the idea, and it was even better when she told me who he was! Turns out we grew up about 4 houses away from each other when we were kids! Continue reading »
Luke and Cassie are a gorgeous couple that I had the pleasure of working with recently. Luke had originally contacted me about doing some photos of himself to gift to Cassie, but when I mentioned to him that I was looking for a couple to do a couples boudoir session, he talked to Cassie about it and they both agreed that they were interested in doing a session together! While I primarily photograph women, and my underlying goal is to help women see and appreciate their self worth and inner strength and beauty, occasionally I enjoy pushing my own limits and trying new things! Continue reading »
