It’s no exaggeration that 2018 has been a really tough year on me, my family, and so many other people that I know. However, I gave myself a light workload for December so that I could take some time off and spend time with family and prepare for the upcoming year, and that’s helped to put a lot of things into perspective for me.
On January 1st, I will turn 35, and I am determined to make 2019 the best year yet, personally and professionally.
Part of preparing for the new year has had me reviewing each of the sessions that I photographed through 2018, and it’s amazing to see how much my work has improved and grown over the last year. I really enjoy seeing my work continue to improve, even after 6 years as a photographer. I’m a firm believer in the idea that there is always room to improve and if you aren’t constantly learning and changing and getting better, then you aren’t pushing yourself hard enough.
There is no way I could ever try to put the following images in any sort of order, so here are my favorites from 2018, loaded completely randomly.
